On a lighter note, i went to see steely dan last week. it was great to hear all those songs live. The crowd was mostly greyhaired guys, which is a bit of a shame that they attract a narrow public. i think their music is timeless and holds up on its own. They are too unique to just be regarded as a 70's band only for that generation to appreciate. Eagles and Doobie Bothers were more a sound of the time, because it was m.o.r.
